Buddy Bunting
Buddy Bunting has been examining the prison system in the American west through painting and drawing for more than 15 years. He studied painting at the Maryland Institute College of Art and the San Francisco Art Institute, receiving an M.F.A. from the Boston University College of Fine Arts. His work has been shown at the Tacoma Art Museum, PS122 in New York, and the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk, Virginia. He has received grants regionally from Artist Trust, 4Culture, The Washington State Arts Commission and the Pollock-Krasner Foundation in New York. He lives and works in Seattle, Washington.
